Thank you for visiting www.mvp-covid.com (the “Site”).  The Site is provided by MediMergent LLC (“MediMergent”).  Please read this Privacy Notice (this “Privacy Notice”) carefully before using the Site to understand how MediMergent collects and uses information and data collected through the Site.

2. Data Collection

MediMergent does not collect any personally identifiable information from you through the Site. 

MediMergent may automatically collect certain information using automated methods, including without limitation, your computer’s or device’s IP address or other unique identifier, your Internet service provider, your type and version of browser and operating system, your geographic location, information about the website that referred or linked you to the Site (if any), any search words or terms that are passed from a search engine, and your activity while on the Site, including pages visited and amount of time spent on the Site (collectively, “Clickstream Information”).  Although this information is related to you, it does not personally identify you to MediMergent.    

3. Data Use

MediMergent may use Clickstream Information for its business purposes, including to: deliver, maintain and improve the operation and presentation of the Site; ensure maximum compatibility of the Site with various Internet browsers and operating systems; enhance our exposure on the Internet; improve your experience on the Site; and track and understand user trends and preferences.  MediMergent may also use the data it collects to comply with its legal obligations.

MediMergent reserves the right to retain data and content for archival, troubleshooting and other lawful purposes.  Some information, including Clickstream Information used to analyze the Site, may be retained indefinitely.

4. Disclosure of Information

MediMergent may disclose information collected through the Site as follows:

  • Service Providers – MediMergent may share information collected through the Site with its third-party service providers who process it on MediMergent’s behalf for the purpose of providing the Site or other services to MediMergent.
  • Government Authorities – MediMergent may share information collected through the Site in order to comply with its legal obligations, or if MediMergent believes that such disclosure is necessary to: comply with a subpoena, court order or other legal process; protect MediMergent’s rights; protect your safety or the safety of others; investigate fraud; or respond to a valid government or agency request.

Business Transfer – MediMergent may share the information collected through the Site in connection with a corporate merger, sale, acquisition, dissolution, bankruptcy or other transfer of all or a portion of its assets with the third-party(ies) involved in such transaction

5. Cookies: Persistent IDs

MediMergent may use “cookies” to enhance your experience on the Site and to improve the structure, content and offerings on the Site.  “Cookies” are pieces of information that the Site sends to your browser while you are visiting and using the Site and enable MediMergent to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Site, pages visited, and user preferences.  You can change your privacy preferences regarding the use of cookies and other technologies through your browser, including blocking all cookies; however, blocking all cookies may affect your use of certain features of the Site and other websites and services online, and may prevent you from using all the features of the Site and other websites and services.  Certain browsers offer a “do not track” feature that tells websites that you don’t want your online activity to be tracked.  At this time the Site does not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include “do not track” instructions. 

MediMergent may use Google Analytics to track your interaction with the Site, including without limitation, your traffic sources and your activity on the Site (e.g., the pages you visit, what you click on, etc.).  MediMergent may also use Google advertising tools, such as AdWords, Google Advertising Reporting, and Google Analytics Reporting and Remarketing, to track your interactions with certain advertising on other websites. MediMergent uses commercially reasonable technology, tools and operational controls to protect the Site and the information collected through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the Internet can be completely secure.  MEDIMERGENT MAKES NO GUARANTEE WITH RESPECT TO THE SECURITY OR PRIVACY OF ANY INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH THE SITE.

7. Third Party Sites

If you reach the Site using a link or from another website or search engine, or go to another website from the Site, information about your visit to the Site may be collected by the other website or search engine, and will be subject to the privacy policy of that site. You are encouraged to review the privacy policy of each of those websites or search engines.  Once you leave the Site, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Notice or the Terms.

IN NO EVENT WILL MEDIMERGENT BE LIABLE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, TO ANYONE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO ANY USE, CONTINUED USE, OR RELIANCE ON ANY LINKED THIRD PARTY SITE, OR ANY LINK CONTAINED IN A LINKED SITE.
